Art Basel Switzerland 2026

Art Basel is considered the largest and most prestigious fair of the contemporary and modern art market. Art Basel started in Basel, Switzerland, in 1970. Since then, it has added annual satellite fairs in Miami, Hong Kong, Paris and Qatar.

The video works are constructed through the layering, deconstruction, and reconstruction of images, combining urban landscapes, architectural elements, and seascapes. Buildings, windows, and the sea merge into new visual spaces, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior, reality and imagination, depth and flatness.

Other videos originate from paintings, which are separated into layers and transformed through animation and digital editing. Through movement and the passage of time, the static images evolve into new compositions, existing between painting, cinema, and video art.
